B | 2月13日、さいたま地裁で開かれた判決公判で井下田英樹裁判官は、「被告人の関与が、被害者の自殺の実行に及ぼした影響は大きく、犯行態様は悪質」などとして、「拘禁刑2年4ヵ月(求刑3年)」の実刑判決を言い渡した。

C | 覚間被告は、自身が自殺願望を抱えるようになった理由について、こう述べていた。

D | 「高校の頃から自分の容姿や見た目がコンプレックスでした。顔の悩みで、不登校になった時期もあります。自分の容姿が醜いから、認めてもらえないし理解もされないと思っていました。

E | 働き始めてからも、苦しかった高校生の頃を思い出して、こんなつらい思いをしてまで、なんで仕事をしてるんだろうと、会社を欠勤したこともあります。そして、生きててもつらい、死んだほうが楽だと考えるようになりました」過去に飛び降り自殺をしようとしたが、あと一歩が恐くて踏み出せなかった。また、’25年5月にも別の女性と待ち合わせ、自殺しようとしたが、やはりできなかったのだという。
